From the very beginning, Taiana’s Kinetech line has made continuous research and real innovation its core mission.

Until just a few years ago, the term “woven stretch” immediately called to mind a small group of leading companies. These fabrics were associated with very specific characteristics, inherently tied to their construction technology: high compression, exceptional lightness, excellent UV protection, durability, and consistent performance over time. At the same time, they came with certain limitations, such as reduced elasticity and low air permeability. That was the accepted standard.

Today, the landscape has broadened. New players have entered the market—many of them content to replicate without truly understanding. And while these followers try to catch up, those with the vision and courage to evolve have rewritten the rules.

From the very beginning, Taiana’s Kinetech line has made continuous research and real innovation its core mission. Our goal has never been simply to manufacture high-performance fabrics, but to create ergogenic fabrics: materials capable of actively enhancing athletic performance, especially in high-level, competitive environments.

Over the past fifteen years, we’ve followed a clear trajectory: Heat Management, Aerodynamics, Protection, and Lightness. These are not just buzzwords—they are pillars of a long-term R&D path aimed at reducing the limiting factors that every elite athlete faces on their journey to peak performance.

Our approach is fundamentally multidisciplinary, because so is athletic performance itself. It is always a balance of physiological, mental, technical, and environmental factors. Neglecting even one of these means undermining the progress achieved in another. To us, a fabric is not just a component of sportswear—it is a strategic tool for athletic optimization.

And that is why, after more than 90 years of experience in woven fabric production, we continue to innovate every day, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, transforming the evolving needs of today’s athletes into the cutting-edge materials of tomorrow.

PRIVACY POLICY

Information pursuant to art. 13 D.Lgs. June 30th 2003, n. 196 Code regarding the protection of personal data and art. 14 of Regulation no. 679/2016 GDPR.

The personal data provided by the User will be placed in a special computer database, so that they can be used for access to the requested services. The data controller is Tessitura Taiana Virgilio S.p.a., based in Olgiate Comasco (CO), Via Carducci n.20.

Tessitura Taiana Virgilio Spa, as data controller, informs that the email address requested at the time of registration and the other personal data provided will be processed with the consent of the interested party, in order to provide the requested information User.

Pursuant to art. 7 of Legislative Decree 30 June 2003, n. 196 (Code regarding the protection of personal data) and Article 17 of Regulation no. 679/2016 GDPR, the User has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or not of personal data concerning him / her, even if not yet recorded, and their communication in intelligible form. Furthermore, the User has the right to obtain the indication:

  • of the origin of personal data;
  • of the purposes and methods of the processing;
  • of the logic applied in case of treatment carried out with the aid of electronic instruments;
  • of the identification details of the owner, of the managers and of the designated representative pursuant to art. 5, paragraph 2 of Legislative Decree 30/06/2003, n. 196;
  • the subjects or categories of subjects to whom the personal data may be communicated or who may become aware of it as appointed representative in the territory of the State, managers or agents.

Furthermore, the User has the right to obtain:

  • updating, rectification or, when interested, integration of data;
  • the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed unlawfully, including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which the data were collected or subsequently processed. The request for data cancellation must be sent to privacy@taiana.it
  • the attestation that the operations referred to in the preceding points have been brought to the attention, also with regard to their content, of those to whom the data have been communicated or disseminated, except in the case where such fulfillment proves impossible or involves the use of resources manifestly disproportionate to the protected right. Finally, the User has the right to object, in whole or in part;
  • for legitimate reasons, the processing of personal data concerning him, even if pertinent to the purpose of the collection;
